The company
Vouch Networks, Inc. was founded in November 2025 in Columbus, Ohio, to build apps for communities. Development on Vouch began in February 2025. Vouch, our first app, serves the Jewish community.
The product
Working in the app today: incident reporting with Pre-Record; a community map of incidents, safe spaces and Jewish life; Gut Check, which lets members raise a concern with a security team, chosen people or those nearby, and lets organization admins alert all members; crisis mode; Jewish news with source counts; prayer times, the Torah portion and the Hebrew date; verified creator profiles and live audio rooms.
Vouch informs and coordinates. It supplements, and never replaces, security professionals and emergency services.
The team
Writing JavaScript since 1997, React for ten years, building with AI/ML since 2023. Six years as a senior developer at Quartz, and agency work for Calvin Klein, Dr Pepper, Disney and Honda. Studied at Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem and Monsey. Founded the media company Tribeherald in 2020.
CEO Marc Shelkin and the JOICE team contribute Jewish content expertise, Jewish creators, social media expertise and content distribution. JOICE reports reaching 45 million people a month.
The business
Bootstrapped to date. An emergency-communications offering for synagogues, JCCs, schools, Hillels and federations, and the Vouch app, open for pre-registration ahead of a global launch.
